Jasmine Sykes is the daughter of Felicia and Christopher Smith.

Jasmine, at an early age, always had a passion for wanting to help others who are unable to help themselves. She graduated with honors from Bullock County High School in June 2012. Jasmine was a member of the Bullock County High cheer squad. In her spare time, she volunteered for the summer cheerleading camp.

Jasmine is a member of of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She serves on the usher board, sings in the choir, serves as Sunday school secretary, and is in charge of preparing the monthly programs.

She is employed with both Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery, AL and East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika, AL. She is a Senior nursing student at Auburn University at Montgomery. Jasmine was cloaked in Auburn University at Montgomery’s first White Coat Ceremony on Oct. 7, 2016 by faculty, administration, and local healthcare leaders along with nearly 400 students in Nursing, Communication Disorders, Medical and Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
